FAMILY is What Matters Most!

Together Again!
I can't even describe how wonderful it is to have my entire family all back together again.  I have been so bad at blogging the past 6 months.  I have so many things to post and my New Years resolution is to keep my blogging up to date.  So many events have happened lately so I will do my part and be better and keeping my blog up to date.

His 1st Date.....When Did My Little Tater-Tot Grow Up?

Tate had his first official date last weekend since turning 16 last month.  He had no reservations about asking a girl to the "Sweethearts" dance.  He had a great experience and is already planning his next date.  He is quite outgoing and is thrilled about the whole dating thing.  Way to go Tate.  You're the Man!

What a "Happy" Halloween!

The girls were twin cowgirls and Garen, as his usual fun loving self, was a dirt biker....I know, not a stretch for him!

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!"

I had a quick getaway to the lovely West Yellowstone with my sister-in-laws and mother-in-law. In my husbands family there are 9 children. 6 girls and 3 boys. So there were a lot of girls all together this weekend. We had a great time taking my mother-in-law to West Yellowstone for some shopping, dinner, and a play for her birthday. We all enjoyed the short time together. We took some fun pics and laughed a lot. Family time is always fun with the Jeppesen's!

Mom's Favorite Day

This, by far, is my most favorite day of the year. I don't know why but I absolutely love Mother's Day. I think it is partly because all of my growing up years I dreamed of being a mother. Now that the kids are all older, I am seeing the fruits of mine and my husbands labor. Our kids are so good to me and treat me with great respect. My son's are so kind and respectful of me and my daughters are the sweetness and beauty in my life. I couldn't of ever asked for better kids. Another reason why I loved this Mother's Day so much is because I got to talk to our son, Tanner, who is on a mission. He sounded so wonderfully happy. He is loving what he is doing and that he is serving the Lord. I often think of this scripture....
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" 3 John 1:4

Awe....Family....Isn't it Great!

Our last family photo together. We took this picture 2 days before Tanner left for the MTC. There is always a bittersweetness sending a missionary off. You know you don't want them to leave but you wouldn't want them anywhere else. The day we took this picture, I was not myself because I always get stressed for family portraits. With the stress of that, plus the anxiousness of Tanner leaving, my kids asked what was wrong and I said you won't understand until you have to send off a missionary. Once we started the photo shoot all that disappeared and it became a memorable experience.

Happy Birthday Jordie!

Today is our sweet Jordan's birthday. I can't believe it has been seventeen years since she came into our lives. We are so grateful that we have her here. We almost lost her at birth and look what we would of missed! Someone who is vibrant, funny, unabashed in her beauty, and never takes herself too seriously. She excells at whatever she chooses to do. Whether it is dance, soccer, or now cheer, she works hard to achieve her goals. She is the light in our lives and always gives us a reason to laugh. We love you Murphy!
